When we experience chronic stress, unresolved trauma, or persistent emotional conflicts, our bodies respond with physical symptoms. These aren't random occurrences — they're meaningful communications from our body's wisdom.

Research in psychoneuroimmunology has shown that emotional states directly influence our nervous, endocrine, and immune systems. A moment of fear triggers a cascade of cortisol and adrenaline. Chronic worry can suppress immune function. Unresolved grief may manifest as chest tightness or respiratory issues.

Reading Your Body's Language
